Who Killed the Electric Car

Did you know that in the '90s, they created an electric car? Not many people know this but seeing this film will teach you the reasons why its not here today. There was a scene where a branch in the government is having a meeting on whether or not allow the electric car. This scene got me mad because the side of keeping the electric car had valid points but in the end, it was decided to not make the cars anymore. This got me upset because so many people had already bought the electric cars and just because many oil companies were against it, the people had to return the cars. What surprised me was that the government sued California (The only place where the car was available and where it originated) to not sell or make any more electric vehicles. DACA Video Imagine that you weren't born in the U.S. Imagine that you were born in another country like Germany, Mexico or Indonesia. You were brought to the U.S. before you turned 16. You were either a baby, or five years old when you came. Basically, the United States is all you know. You know English and you love this country. Even though the U.S. is your home, you're not a legal citizen. Your parents brought you here so that you can escape the troubles of the country you were born in. You have goals and dreams to accomplish in the U.S. and you're thankful that you have DACA. But now think about how you would feel after you find out that the President is

Ted Talks Video Ever since I was little, I've wanted to be an educator. I would always beg my parents for a chalkboard. Eventually, I got one and I would play school with my younger cousins. I always saw how teachers moods impacted their students. Ive had bad teachers -who would make students cry- and I've had good teachers -who would make students laugh. I decided that I would do my best to be a good teacher. This Ted Talks video, truly gives me motivation and examples how a teacher truly molds their students. A good teacher is someone who brings out the best in their students and takes their time ensuring that every student learns and doesn't work just for a paycheck. In this video, Rita Pierson talked about how she had a class who the students were the worst academically skilled. But instead of allowing them to think that, she told them that they were the smartest and best and were paired with the best teacher. This motivated the class and shows that a good teac
